We will be getting married in Lake City, Michigan (not Minnesota) on beautiful Lake Missaukee!

Flying In:

Unfortunately, unless you own and can fly a seaplane, Lake City is not directly accessible by air. Traverse City (TVC) is about one hour drive. Grand Rapids (GRR) and Lansing (LAN) are each about a two hour drive from Lake City. Detroit (DET) is about three hours. All have rental car options to get you the last stretch of the way! (if you do own and can fly a seaplane, why have you been holding out on us this whole time?)

Driving In:

Lake City is accessible by several roads that are well-maintained by the Michigan Department of Transportation. Mobile phone applications, some of which are available directly on your car, can reliably direct you to most addresses, including the ones relevant to the our wedding weekend.

Lodging:

Based on the relatively dispersed options for housing lots of people, we have chosen not to reserve any hotel blocks. There are a small number of AirBnBs/VRBOs in the greater Lake City area, and the closest option for a chain hotel is the Hampton Inn in Cadillac, MI.
